Favorite Family!

I have been super busy lately, as you may notice I post less and less often. But busy is good! And I am trying to post every few days if possible. Here is one photograph from my shoot today! It is Monnie, Kyla and Kenzie...who happen to be 3 of my favorite people in the world! I adore them, and hope you like their portrait as much as I do!

Lena & Monzer

I had the honor of photographing Lena & Monzer's wedding this past Saturday. They are a wonderful couple from Chicopee. It was an absolutely breathtakingly beautiful wedding! Mack-a-doo and Gauge

   Today, there was an open house at our studio. It was really nice to have people coming through to check us out! There was lots of our work on display for all to see. We had a really great turnout! People really responded well to what we've got going on. 

   I had the pleasure of photographing my dear friend Laura's kids while there today. Mackenzie and Gauge, 2 of the cutest kids ever! Here are a few photographs from today!

Today I had the pleasure of photographing the marriage of Michael & Anthony. It was fantastic, and I feel honored that they chose me to document their special day! What an amazing couple; You can just see the love they have for each other, and it makes me smile! It's heartwarming! Here are a few photographs from their wedding...

Angelo in the studio...

   Ok, ok. So I am aware that it has been a LOOOOOOOONNNNNGGGGG time since I last posted anything...I have been very busy, though that is no excuse. So, I am here to say "sorry, and look what I was doing today..."

   I now have a studio! Yay me! I am super excited! I had to be there today since I was having furniture delivered, so I brought Angelo along, and took some fun pics of him! Then Kat met us up there, and Angelo modeled for her too! He is such a little stud!  

   I am preparing for a wedding that I am photographing tomorrow morning. Michael & Anthony are tying the knot, and I could not be more excited for them! I am expecting great weather for their morning ceremony! I will post a photo or two tomorrow night, I promise!

Brooke & John

Today I had the pleasure of photographing Brooke & John up in Franklin county. They are a wonderful couple, who were recently married.  We spent some time outside, seeing as it was a perfect New England Autumn day. Here is one photograph from the many, many shots we took.

Finished...

So, tonight we finished up Angie and Dinah's senior portraits. The beach shoot was 3 weeks ago, and tonight we did some studio type shots. It was fantastic thanks to my dear friends Kat Kattler and Ian Pouliot. They are both amazing photographers, and were unbelievably helpful tonight. I cannot thank them enough for helping me to make tonight a success.

I just love you guys!!!

Oh, man. I have been a busy girl! I have been busy with consultations, and I love it! I've booked 3 more weddings, and waiting to confirm on the 4th, I'm photographing 2 events for the Mayor of Springfield, I've got senior pictures, engagement portraits, baby portraits and some other fun stuff coming up too! I love to be busy!

But I'm not too busy to have a little fun as well. I got to play with one of my very best friends from NJ, Chrissy and her little man Will. We set up a backdrop and some lights, and had field day! Here are 2 photos from our fun times!

I hope everyone is well! It's getting chilly out, and the leaves are-a-changing!!! You know what that means? Becca's favorite time of year for making portraits!!!!! Love the beautiful colors...they make a perfect backdrop for family, senior and engagement portraits! I have a perma-grin on my face, until the first snow! Then I have an I-hate-to shovel-frown. But we won't worry about that just yet!!!

Greetings from PPANE!!!

Hey everyone! Just checking in from the PPANE convention! It's going great, but we have been soooo busy!!! Today was the student print contest, and guess what? I won 2 red ribbons! I'm pretty excited!!! I would like to thank baby Ethan and Jenna & Andy F. for being my models in the photographs I turned in for the contest!!! You guys are great, and you helped me to win!!!

Leaving today...

Hi everyone! I am just getting ready to leave for New Hampshire. I am attending and volunteering at the PPANE (Professional Photographers Association of New England) convention in Nashua for the next 5 days! I am excited for the convention, and to see some of my fellow Hallmark graduates who will be volunteering with me! It should be super exciting! I will be home Tuesday the 16th, later in the night, so you probably won't hear much from me until then. 

As always, I must leave you with a photo...This is Rachel & Josh H. They were married on 06/28/08, which also happens to be my birthday! Their wedding was beautiful, and so fun! I love these 2 people!

This is the little face I have been working on all night. Cutie-pie Ethan. Not a bad face to have to stare at for hours, if I do say so myself! 

I have, like, a million pics of him. How do you edit this little face? I want to keep every shot, but edit I must. And so it continues...

Yesterday...

My shoot at the beach went well. We created senior portraits for Angie and Dina. I'm not posting any here because I am still working feverishly on them, and they are a surprise. I don't want the girls to see them until I am finished. 

But, I can't post a blog with no photos, so here are a few I took while Angie and Dina were changing. This is Rachel, Dina's little sister. She is sweet as pie, and so fun to work with. And might I add, cute as a button!

Busy, Busy, Busy!

Woah, it's been awhile since I've logged in and updated you all on what I've been up to. (A few days IS awhile!!!)

I've been working way too many hours at my full time job! Every minute not spent there, has been spent editing and retouching. I have so much going on! Ahhhh!!!! 

Tomorrow I an going to the Beach (CT coastline) for a photo shoot with Angie and one of her best friends. Angie is now a senior at LHS, and so of course she needs senior portraits! It should be a great day!

I just booked another wedding for July 2009. Patty & Chad, a super nice couple from central MA. I think I'm as excited as they are! I LOVE WEDDINGS!!! Congrats to them!

Tim is in NC on a job until the 18th. I miss him tons, but am staying busy so it won't bother me too much! I hate dwelling on stuff!

All in all, things are great. Life is good. I hope you are all doing as well as I am!!! I'm sure you are! I'll leave you with a pretty photo I took in June on our adventures in Boston. I'm hoping it will make Lia miss home, and come back from SF. Plus, I can't post a update without a photo!!!

Congratulations Jenna & Andy!!!

Today was amazing! Jenna and Andy from Orange County, Cali got married in a heartwarming outdoor ceremony. I want to thank everyone who prayed for the rain to stay away, it worked! 

Jenna & Andy were surrounded by family and friends, who really know how to party!

I had a blast, and felt honored that they chose me to capture this momentous event!

Busy day...

So, today I was busy!  I had a portrait session with a nice family Lisa, Chris and Ethan. They are so sweet, and Ethan is just adorable!  The portraits came out great...I am editing them right now!

Then, later in the day I met with Jenna and Andy who are my bride & groom for the wedding I'm photographing tomorrow. They are wonderful, and I am really looking forward to their wedding! They are the sweetest couple from Cali, getting married here in Wstern Mass. You can often tell just how things are going to go as soon as you meet the couple. I got a great vibe from them, and I know this is going to be amazing! Can't wait for tomorrow! And I'm praying that the rain will hold off for their OUTDOOR ceremony!

I hope summer has been good to you all! It has kept me busy with weddings and other fun photographic adventures! My favorite model of all times Lia has just moved to San Fran, so I guess I'm going to have to go to the west coast to photograph her! Sad for me, exciting for her!!!

I'm baking cookies right now, so I'll go before I burn any!
