Finished...

So, tonight we finished up Angie and Dinah's senior portraits. The beach shoot was 3 weeks ago, and tonight we did some studio type shots. It was fantastic thanks to my dear friends Kat Kattler and Ian Pouliot. They are both amazing photographers, and were unbelievably helpful tonight. I cannot thank them enough for helping me to make tonight a success.

I just love you guys!!!

Oh, man. I have been a busy girl! I have been busy with consultations, and I love it! I've booked 3 more weddings, and waiting to confirm on the 4th, I'm photographing 2 events for the Mayor of Springfield, I've got senior pictures, engagement portraits, baby portraits and some other fun stuff coming up too! I love to be busy!

But I'm not too busy to have a little fun as well. I got to play with one of my very best friends from NJ, Chrissy and her little man Will. We set up a backdrop and some lights, and had field day! Here are 2 photos from our fun times!

I hope everyone is well! It's getting chilly out, and the leaves are-a-changing!!! You know what that means? Becca's favorite time of year for making portraits!!!!! Love the beautiful colors...they make a perfect backdrop for family, senior and engagement portraits! I have a perma-grin on my face, until the first snow! Then I have an I-hate-to shovel-frown. But we won't worry about that just yet!!!

Greetings from PPANE!!!

Hey everyone! Just checking in from the PPANE convention! It's going great, but we have been soooo busy!!! Today was the student print contest, and guess what? I won 2 red ribbons! I'm pretty excited!!! I would like to thank baby Ethan and Jenna & Andy F. for being my models in the photographs I turned in for the contest!!! You guys are great, and you helped me to win!!!

Thanks to everyone who supports me, each and every day!

Leaving today...

Hi everyone! I am just getting ready to leave for New Hampshire. I am attending and volunteering at the PPANE (Professional Photographers Association of New England) convention in Nashua for the next 5 days! I am excited for the convention, and to see some of my fellow Hallmark graduates who will be volunteering with me! It should be super exciting! I will be home Tuesday the 16th, later in the night, so you probably won't hear much from me until then. 

As always, I must leave you with a photo...This is Rachel & Josh H. They were married on 06/28/08, which also happens to be my birthday! Their wedding was beautiful, and so fun! I love these 2 people!

This is the little face I have been working on all night. Cutie-pie Ethan. Not a bad face to have to stare at for hours, if I do say so myself! 

I have, like, a million pics of him. How do you edit this little face? I want to keep every shot, but edit I must. And so it continues...

But, not tonight. I am tired and going to bed now.

Yesterday...

My shoot at the beach went well. We created senior portraits for Angie and Dina. I'm not posting any here because I am still working feverishly on them, and they are a surprise. I don't want the girls to see them until I am finished. 

But, I can't post a blog with no photos, so here are a few I took while Angie and Dina were changing. This is Rachel, Dina's little sister. She is sweet as pie, and so fun to work with. And might I add, cute as a button!

Busy, Busy, Busy!

Woah, it's been awhile since I've logged in and updated you all on what I've been up to. (A few days IS awhile!!!)

I've been working way too many hours at my full time job! Every minute not spent there, has been spent editing and retouching. I have so much going on! Ahhhh!!!! 

Tomorrow I an going to the Beach (CT coastline) for a photo shoot with Angie and one of her best friends. Angie is now a senior at LHS, and so of course she needs senior portraits! It should be a great day!

I just booked another wedding for July 2009. Patty & Chad, a super nice couple from central MA. I think I'm as excited as they are! I LOVE WEDDINGS!!! Congrats to them!

Tim is in NC on a job until the 18th. I miss him tons, but am staying busy so it won't bother me too much! I hate dwelling on stuff!

All in all, things are great. Life is good. I hope you are all doing as well as I am!!! I'm sure you are! I'll leave you with a pretty photo I took in June on our adventures in Boston. I'm hoping it will make Lia miss home, and come back from SF. Plus, I can't post a update without a photo!!!
